Mirtle is a lovely character to created.  She stands (with legs bent) just over 12" (30cm) tall and sits at 8 inches.
A cheeky chimp, Mirtle has a  tiny amount of needle sculpting to her nose (very easy and covered fully in my instructions).    
Happiest wearing a nice soft, dense fur, her face and other features can be made in any smooth or soft pile fabric.  Cashmere (as in ted's paws) is perfect, faux suede, or mini plush can also be used.  Our cheery chimp is also large enough to wear small baby clothes if you wish  : )
